The car was built about 20 years ago by Road Runners Car Club member Charlie Miller. It was dubbed "The Whale" by it's owner because "it is very hard to make a whale of a car go that fast!" This car has been used by many Road Runners members in the past to make licensing passes at El Mirage. The car has never been to Bonneville - though it may still in it's future. At El Mirage, the car performs consistently in the 180mph range and runs on a 200.000mph record set by Dan Warner.
